Reviewing Your Custom Proposal

3 min read

Our goals are to ensure that we tailor our services to the needs of your business, and not to the needs of our own.  It’s really that simple; the more your business succeeds, the better chance our business has to succeeds in tow.  It’s for this reason that we have broken our services apart so that we can pick and choose the right level of engagement that won’t overcharge for services you don’t need, but at the same time will provide you with the proper amount of support to encourage growth.

Below is an example of a Monthly Engagement Proposal

for a typical restaurant client with 1 full year of accounting work to catch-up

Sample Monthly Engagement Proposal #

All of our proposals are sent digitally, and are accessed via a link in your email. Once you open the link, you’ll be presented with a proposal that looks like this:

One-Time Setup Services

This first section outlines the initial one-time services required to fully set up and bring your accounts current. Depending on your needs, this may involve creating a new QuickBooks Online account, applying for necessary business licenses or tax registrations, catching up on overdue reconciliations, and establishing any needed integrations such as point-of-sale, payroll, or expense-management tools. These one-time tasks ensure your books are accurate, complete, and ready for ongoing maintenance.

Monthly Recurring Services

This section describes the recurring services we perform each month to keep your financial records reconciled, organized, and up to date. Certain core services are considered essential and are included in every engagement to maintain accuracy and compliance. Additional services can be selected as needed, allowing you to tailor the level of ongoing support while preserving the fundamental accounting functions your business requires.

Fixed Package Pricing

All engagements are structured on a month-to-month basis, providing the flexibility to adjust services as your business evolves. For clients who prefer to lower their initial onboarding costs, we also offer the option to commit to a minimum of three, six, or twelve months. Choosing one of these longer commitments significantly reduces the one-time setup fees while still delivering the same high level of monthly service and attention.

Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the proposal consists of the standard terms and conditions governing our services, including detailed provisions on billing, confidentiality, and termination. Be sure to review the complete contract before moving on to the next steps.

Accepting & Signing your Proposal #

Great! If everything looks good and you’re ready to move forward, simply click the green “Approve Proposal” button on the left side of your screen. You’ll then be prompted to enter your name and provide a digital signature to finalize the agreement.

Congratulations on becoming a client of Salt & Main! Once you’ve completed this step, a member of our team will be notified and will reach out promptly with the next steps to begin your onboarding.
