What’s the deal with the new W-4?

As of January 1, 2020, the IRS has issued an new, updated version of Form W-4 that no longer allows an employee to claim a number (#) of deductions, but rather a dollar ($) amount of deductions.  For more information, check out the IRS’s “FAQ’s on the 2020 Form W-4” page.
